Dynamo Elite Camp

presented by:

statoil

Competitive tryout for the area's best youth players.

Boys

The Dynamo Elite Camp, presented by StatoilHydro, is the main source of identification and recruitment for the Dynamo Academy. The camp curriculum and training will be based on technique and tactical development. Participants will also play a number of small-sided and 11 v. 11 games throughout the week. Each player will be evaluated by the Dynamo coaching staff, and successful players will be invited to train with the Dynamo Academy.

The four-day tryout will run for three hours daily and will be open to 180 players. There will be 10 coaches per session for an 18:1 ratio. The focus will be on technique, tactics and physical development in small training groups.

The purpose of the winter elite camp is to identify potential players for the Dynamo Academy. Standout players will have the opportunity to participate in the 2009 College Combine. Players must be BOYS between the ages of 13-18. This is a very competitive soccer camp, and we only encourage competitive players to register.

The Dynamo has teamed up with Plex, which is internationally recognized as one of the leaders in overall human athletic performance, and can now offer some new and exciting features for the kids and the parents at every camp.

  • Soccer Specific Performance Program - a program designed specifically for the soccer player that is trying to maximize his or her athletic potential. Its main focus will be on speed, agility, quickness and power drills and exercises.
  • Soccer Nutritional Plan - a nutritional plan specifically designed for the soccer player, keeping in mind what to eat or not to eat during long weekend tournaments and the night before a big game.
  • Q & A about nutrition and injuries - in a classroom environment, Plex staff will answer questions about nutrition and injuries for both adults and children.
  • Injury Prevention & Dynamic Warm-up Routine - a warm-up and stretching plan that will focus on the muscles that are used during play.
  • Parent Fitness Hour during camp - never done before, Plex will have its dedicated staff put parents and visitors through a fitness hour. The goal is to not only have the kids get a workout and a plan for their fitness goals, but also work with parents for one hour during the camp and let them also join in on the fun.
