Dribble, Pass & Score

Dribble, Pass &Score (DPS) is a fun, free competition for boys and girls. The program emphasizes three important skills of soccer:

• Dribbling
• Passing
• Shooting

The competition is open to these five age groups:

1. 6-7 year olds
2. 8-9 year olds
3. 10-11 year olds
4. 12-14 year olds
5. 15-16 year olds

WHEN DOES THE 2009 PROGRAM BEGIN?

The program will launch in February and continue with various levels of competition through the Dynamo season. DPS concludes with the Dynamo Dribble, Pass & Score Team Championship held at Robertson Stadium during a Dynamo game at the end of the season.

WHERE WILL COMPETITIONS BE HELD?

Local competitions will be held at youth soccer events, community festivals and schools. All results from the competitions will be tallied and posted on the website for participants to view and track. The regional competition will be held at a central location.

How to participate:
To have your local school, festival, church, or soccer club participate, please fill out this form and fax it to Tyler Moyer at 713-376-7573

How the competition works:
Participants will be split into groups based on their ages, as listed above. The top five will be selected from each age group before the DPS finals, and their parents will receive an information packet about the location, time, and date of the finals.

Finals will be held at the University of Houston before a Houston Dynamo home game near the end of the season. Finalists will receive a gold, silver, or bronze medal and win some Adidas prizes, with every participant receiving free tickets to the game and the opportunity to be recognized on the field before kickoff.
