Outstanding Hispanic Leader Award

Each year, the Houston Dynamo and Budweiser team up to recognize the leadership achievements of Hispanic community leaders in the Houston area who demonstrate determination, passion, and service. The Dynamo are now accepting nominations for the 2009 award, which will be presented at halftime of the September 19th game against Real Salt Lake.

Eligibility, Criteria, and Procedures

Eligibility – nominees must

  • Be of Hispanic descent
  • Be over the age of 21

Criteria – nominees should

  • Display leadership and betterment of the community through undertakings that have had a wide impact on a large number of people
  • Have shown sustained service over a period of years, not necessarily in one post or organization
  • Have provided motivation to others through personal commitment and/or exemplary performance

Procedure – nominations should

  • Be completed in full and signed by the nominator
  • Be submitted to the Houston Dynamo by the deadline – September 9, 2009 – 12 midnight

  • Be returned via e-mail to Houston Dynamo, Attn: Outstanding Hispanic Leader Award to mduran@houstondynamo.com or by Fax to 713-276-7573 or 713-276-7572
