San Jose Earthquakes Stadium Guidelines

TAILGATING POLICY

  • Due to University and local municipal restrictions, there is NO tailgating allowed in Parking Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 nor in the VIP Lot.
  • The Earthquakes will open the Club Quake Tailgate Zone 2 hours prior to kick-off
    • The entry gates for the tailgate zone will be the VIP Gate (located along El Camino Real)
    • Concession stands will be open and will have food, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer for sale
    • There will be access to restrooms
    • All Stadium Policies regarding Food & Beverage and Restricted items will be in place
    • You will need a game ticket to enter the Club Quake Tailgate Zone

Parking:

  • All parking lots will open 2 hours prior to scheduled kick off
  • " If you do not have a season parking pass, it The entry fee for General Parking Lots 3 & 4 is $15 per car
  • The entry Fee for General Parking Lot 5 is $10 per car
  • Season Parking passes can be purchased by contacting the San Jose Earthquakes ticket office at 408.556.7700

STADIUM ENTRY/EXIT

  • Stadium gates will open 1 hour prior to scheduled kick-off
    • Gates D and E will open 2 hours prior to scheduled kick-off for the Club Quakes Tailgate Zone
  • There are 4 main entry points to the stadium
    • VIP Gate (accessible only to On-Field Seat Ticket holders)
    • Gate A
    • Gate B (accessible only to staff and vendors only)
    • Gate C
  • There are no re-entry privileges at Buck Shaw Stadium.

APPROVED ITEMS:

  • Confetti
  • Streamers
  • Drums
  • Banners (zip tied to railings and no larger then 5' x 32')
  • Flags with 1 or 2 poles must not exceed 3'
  • Backpacks/Bags no larger then 16" x 16" x 8"
    • Backpacks/Bags are subject to search
  • Portable Seatbacks
  • 1 Water bottle per person (it must be soft plastic and sealed)
  • Cameras and video recorders (must be handheld and cannot be set up in seating area)
    • Pictures and videos cannot be used for commercial purpose unless approved by the San Jose Earthquakes and Major League Soccer

STADIUM RESTRICTIONS:

  • No food and beverage or metal, plastic or glass containers brought in from outside the stadium (except for 1 water bottle per person)
  • No bicycles
  • No weapons and illegal substances of any kind
  • No beach balls
  • No laser pointers
  • No horns of any kind
  • No whistles
  • No incendiary devices (i.e. fireworks, smoke bombs, flares, etc.)
  • No aerosol cans (i.e. hairspray, silly string, etc.)
  • No smoking

ANIMALS:

  • The only animals allowed in the stadium are certified service animals. Owners must have appropriate certification in their possession. Service animals in training will not be permitted to enter the stadium unless authorized by the San Jose Earthquakes.

EARTHQUAKES BOX OFFICE:

  • There are 2 box offices located at the stadium
    • Gate A
    • Gate C
  • Box offices will open on game days 2 hours prior to scheduled kick-off
  • On non-game days, tickets for individual games may be purchased at tickets.com or by phone at 1-800-225-2277
  • Will call is located at Gate A
  • Ticket Services is located at Gate C

WILL CALL:

  • Will call is located at Gate A and opens 2.5 hours prior to scheduled kick off. Guests must show picture identification at will call in order to pick up their tickets. Guests may also leave tickets at these windows.

MEDIA WILL CALL:

  • Media can enter through any gate
  • Credentials can be picked up at Gate A

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT:
The San Jose Earthquakes and Major League Soccer are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable soccer experience for all guests in and around our stadiums. MLS fans have a right to expect an environment where:

  • Fans are encouraged to cheer, sing, and otherwise support their team while remaining respectful and courteous to their fellow patrons, referees, opposing team fans and players.
  • Fans enjoy the soccer experience free from fighting, thrown objects, attempts to enter the playing field, political or inciting messages, and disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racial, obscene or abusive language or gestures.
  • Fans comply with requests from stadium staff regarding stadium operations and emergency response procedures.
  • Fans promptly and carefully return the ball to a stadium staff member or the ball kid on the sidelines in the event that a soccer ball enters the stands.
  • Alcoholic beverages are consumed in a responsible manner and only by those of legal age.
  • Fans conduct themselves in a lawful manner to avoid incidents in the stadium and in the parking lots.

LOST AND FOUND:
Found items are taken to the Leavey Center Operations room as soon as possible. Items are immediately logged and kept until 1 hour after the game has ended. Items picked up after that will need to be picked up at the Earthquakes offices located across the street.
