Parking Advisory - 6/20/09

Due to ongoing construction at the Meadowlands, the amount of parking spaces and available lots will be changing periodically throughout the season. As a result of these continuing improvements, traffic patterns and access to certain parking lots will be affected. Please allow extra time for travel and parking. We appreciate your patience as these improvements are made and thank you for helping us make your visit to Red Bulls matches a comfortable, convenient and pleasant one.

Effective Friday, June 12th, at 8 PM, the entrance ramp from the Sports Complex to Route 3 West, which is immediately adjacent to "H" Plaza, will be completely and permanently closed. This closure is due to the reconfiguration of the Turnpike 16W Entrance and Exit ramps to and from Route 3 West.

All future access from the Sports Complex to Route 3 West will be via exit at "J" Plaza or Route 120 South. Appropriate signage is already in place to direct our staffs and patrons to Route 3.

DUE TO NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE ISSUES, EXPECT DELAYS GETTING TO THE STADIUM FROM THE TURKPIKE. PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME WHEN TRAVELING TO THE MATCH.

Turnpike Info for Exit 16W: NOTE: DUE TO ONGOING CONTRUCTION, REFER TO POSTED TRAFFIC SIGNS FOR THE MOST UP TO DATE ROUTE WHEN APPROACHING GIANTS STADIUM.

Going to the Stadium from 3 East
The Route 120 exit and the Turnpike exit have been switched so now the Route 120 exit is second. After taking the exit, bear right when the road goes to three lanes and take the 120 exit. From there the road will fork but follow the signs to stay on Route 120. You will then enter the complex by the Izod Center and need to loop around to end up by Lots 10/12. ***You can also take the Route 3 West exit when the road forks and enter the Complex by the Giants' Training Facility.

Going to the Stadium from the Turnpike
After exiting the toll plaza, the road will bend to the right. After the bend, stay to the right for the Route 120 exit. From there the road will fork but follow the signs to stay on Route 120. You will then enter the complex by the Izod Center and need to loop around to end up by Lots 10/12. ***You can also take the Route 3 West exit when the road forks and enter the Complex by the Giants' Training Facility.

Going to the Turnpike North from the Stadium
Take the road exiting the complex next to the Giants' Training Facility. When the road tees, make the right and follow that road. This will lead you to the two lane exit for the Turnpike on the right. This road can also be reached from Route 3 West (same exit for entering the stadium) if the patrons take Route 120 South to Route 3 West.

Going to the Turnpike South from the Stadium
Patrons can follow the directions for the Turnpike North. They can also take that route and instead of taking the Turnpike exit, bear left and continue on. Bear left again when the road splits to take Route 3 East. Route 3 will fork a little ways down and you need to bear right for the Turnpike ramp. ***Route 3 East can also be reached by taking Route 120 South and following the signs.

Parking Lot Info
Currently all of the parking lots pictured in the graphic above are open. However, Lots 9B, 14, and 18 have some construction going on in them. The islands have been removed and are being replaced, and the bases for new lights are being put in. This will eliminate some spaces, but these lots are still usable. Everything is marked with barrels or concrete barriers to keep the shape of the lots present.

When the flea market takes place on a Saturday before one of our games, the parking lots will be opening up at 3 PM. This is only on Saturdays with flea markets. All other games will be 3 hours before kick off.
