LA Galaxy vs. FC Barcelona

A crowd of over 85,000 is expected for the LA Galaxy vs. FC Barcelona game at the Rose Bowl this Saturday, August 1st. As a result, the Rose Bowl and the LA Galaxy encourage guests to arrive early (prior to 6 p.m.) to help avoid traffic delays and congested streets around to Rose Bowl and to take advantage of the opportunity to bring a picnic or tailgate on the Rose Bowl grounds or adjacent golf courses. We also recommend that you consider utilizing alternate transportation; information on the Metro Gold Line and a shuttle bus from Old Town Pasadena is below.
Thank you for making plans to attend Saturday's match between the LA Galaxy and FC Barcelona. In order to make your visit more enjoyable, please read the information below, which has been provided by the Rose Bowl Stadium management.
GETTING HERE:

- Metro Gold Line: The Metro Gold Line will operate its normal service to and from Pasadena's Memorial Park Station every 20 minutes. The Memorial Park Station is just two blocks from the shuttle bus pick up point in the heart of Old Pasadena. The last Gold Line train from the Memorial Park Station departs at 12:38 a.m. The last Gold Line train departure that connects to the Red Line departs Memorial Park Station at 11:38 p.m.
- Shuttle to the Stadium: The Old Pasadena Shuttle Bus is a quick and convenient alternative to driving to the Rose Bowl. Shuttle Busses will operate from adjacent to Parsons Engineering parking lot (including ample handicap parking), located at 100 W. Walnut Street in Pasadena (cross street is Fair Oaks), to Lot B at the Rose Bowl. The bus ride to and from the stadium will take about 10 minutes along a special designated route. The bus will drop you off within 100 feet of the Rose Bowl's Gate B entrance. All buses are wheelchair and handicap accessible. Although the Shuttle Bus is free, parking at Parsons is $20. Parking is also available as low as $6 at nearby public parking lots. The shuttle will begin at 4 p.m. and run continuously until 90 minutes after the end of the game.
- Taxis: The designated passenger drop off point for Rose Bowl events is located on Holly St (one block south of Walnut) between Fair Oaks and Raymond Ave. The drop off is just 1 block from the Shuttle Bus loading point (see above). There are no drop offs allowed in or around the Rose Bowl Stadium. All vehicles, including taxis, will be charged the parking fees upon entering the stadium area.
- GPS: Please be advised that setting your GPS to the Rose Bowl Stadium may not be accurate in getting you to the parking area. Please follow the Cal Trans guide signs on the freeways to guide you to the parking area. There are generally several exits that will to get you to the parking areas; do not stack up behind the line of cars in front of you at the first offramp.
PARKING:

- 75% of the available general parking is located on two golf courses north of the stadium; the walk from these golf courses to the stadium may be as much as 1.5 miles. As a result, guests who arrive at the stadium after 6 p.m. are likely to experience a long walk to the stadium and may miss a portion of the match.
- For guests who park on the golf courses, we recommend that you use your cell phone or camera to take a photo of your Lot Number or other landmark in the event that you need assistance locating your car after the match. Parking staff will be available post-game to assist guests if necessary, and you can find assistance at the courses' clubhouse as well.
- Parking costs: $20 for cars and $40 for busses, RV's and limousines.
- Parking lots open at 3 p.m. on August 1.
- Handicap parking: Available at the listed rates at the Rose Bowl, at Parsons Engineering (near the free Shuttle Bus to the stadium), and other public lots in Old Pasadena. All busses are handicap/wheelchair accessible. All patrons displaying handicap placards will be required to produce the accompanying disabled personal identification card.
LA GALAXY SOCCER FEST:
- Soccer Fest opens in Lot H in front of the Rose Bowl at 4 p.m. and runs all the way up to kickoff at 8 p.m.
- Soccer Fest features live music, a Galaxy Fan Fun Zone with interactive elements, the Galaxy Futboleros, face painters, interactive sponsor booths with giveaways, food vendors, and a beer garden.
INSIDE THE STADIUM:
- Season Ticket Holders may enter the stadium at Gate G beginning at 5:45 p.m.
