2009 Galaxy Drive Series
The Galaxy Drive Series is a community initiative where the Galaxy's Community Development department conducts food, clothing, and school supplies drives aimed at assisting Los Angeles area youth and local non-profit organizations.
Together with our fans and the community at-large we can make a difference!
Galaxy Drive Series Schedule
October 2 - Clothing Drive
Winter is coming and the Galaxy are asking fans to clean out their closets and donate gently-used (or new) clothing and shoes to children and families in need. We are in need of quality clothing and shoes for men, women, and children, including maternity clothing. Donations of coats, sweatshirts, hats, socks, scarves and gloves are very important during the winter months.
Beneficiary:
Contributing fans will receive a "Galaxy Drive Series Voucher" valid for $5 off a ticket for select games, Galaxy key chain and be entered into a drawing for a Galaxy adidas soccer ball signed by members of the 2009 Galaxy team.
Collection Details
- Drive Series Collection Booths will be located outside the Southwest, Southeast and in between the north entrances of The Home Depot Center.
- Collection booths open 90 minutes prior to kick-off and close 15 minutes after kick-off.
- Donors receive a "Galaxy Drive SeriesVoucher" valid for $5 off a ticket for select games and be entered into a drawing for adidas soccer ball signed by members of the 2009 Galaxy team.
