Kansas City Wizards 2009 recap
 The Kansas City Wizards finished the MLS regular season 8-13-9 and missed the playoffs for the first time in two seasons, but the year was not without successes.

Espinoza, Myers in South Africa tour
 Two Kansas City Wizards will take part in an upcoming trip to South Africa by some of Major League Soccer's top young players. Roger Espinoza and Chance Myers, members of the Generation adidas program, will join 16 other MLS players on the 11-day trip.

Wizards keep Vermes as manager
Peter Vermes addressed the media after being named full-time Wizards head coach.In addition to becoming the fourth head coach in Kansas City's history, Peter Vermes will also continue to serve as the team's technical director, a position he has held since November 2006.
