Kansas City Wizards Soccer-Volleyball Fundraiser
The Kansas City Wizards would love to join forces with your school for a Kansas City Wizards Soccer-Volleyball Fundraiser! The program is set up to help your school raise funds and provide a unique opportunity for students to interact with professional athletes. It is set up so that the students that sell the most tickets and t-shirts win a chance to play Soccer-Volleyball against the Kansas City Wizards. The great part about it is that a portion of the proceeds goes back to your school. Here is how it is set up:
Program Guidelines:
- The school will be given ticket and T-shirt order forms. A portion of each ticket and T-shirt will go back to the school.
- The students who raise the most money in his/her class (ticket and t-shirt sales) will be invited to play in this fun game vs. the Kansas City Wizards players!
- The Kansas City Wizards will provide Wizards T-shirts for those playing. There can be anywhere from six (6) students to eighteen (18) students that participate.
- The Soccer-Volleyball game will be held in your school’s gym during school hours and everyone is invited to attend.
- In order to host the Soccer-Volleyball game, the school must sell at least 200 tickets.
What is Soccer-Volleyball?
It’s similar to regular volleyball, but while the students can play the game using their hands, the Kansas City Wizards players will only be allowed to use legal soccer touches, which include their feet, thighs, chest, and head. NO HANDS ALLOWED!
How do I get started?
First, contact Erin Lawless at (913) 387-3424. Then, she will discuss the program structure with you and send:
- Flyers to be displayed throughout the school.
- Tickets to sell for the Kansas City Wizards game.
- Ticket and T-shirt order forms (the T-shirts will be available for pick-up at the Soccer-Volleyball game).
