Round two for FCD, RapidsThe Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas meet for the second time in less than three weeks, once again facing each other at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The teams played to a 1-1 draw on June 24 in Commerce City, a late Omar Cummings goal giving the Rapids a share of the points after David Ferreira scored for FCD.
FC Dallas reloading back line As the 2009 season has progressed, the FC Dallas defense has clearly shown improvement. FCD has now allowed 25 goals this campaign, a total which ties them for third-most in MLS along with D.C. United and Toronto FC. That's a step up from earlier in the year when FCD was near the bottom of the league in goals allowed.
FCD defeat Sockers in friendly Anthony Wallace and Andre Rocha each scored to give FC Dallas a 2-0 win over the West Texas United Sockers of the Premier Development League Tuesday night.
