2008 Crew Soccer Academy Tryout Information
The Crew Soccer Academy teams, the highest level of the Columbus Crew's youth model which competes in the US Soccer Development Academy, will be holding open try-outs for the fully funded U16 and U18 age groups during the week of June 2-6. Invitation only tryouts and player identification camps will also be conducted throughout the year. Please note that every age eligible player who attends Crew Soccer Academy and Crew Juniors tryouts will first be evaluated for the appropriate Crew Soccer Academy team. Players will then be evaluated and may be invited to join the appropriate level of Crew Juniors teams. Developmental players (Crew Juniors players who may mature and progress to Crew Soccer Academy) must come from within the Crew Juniors teams.

* Crew Soccer Academy (per US Soccer Development Academy regulations) age groups are different from Crew Juniors.
- Please note that all tryouts will be held from 6:00 - 7:30pm.
- Please arrive early for registration at 5:30pm.
- Players should bring a soccer ball, shin guards, water, and a light and dark T-shirt. The Crew Juniors encourages players to attend both days of tryouts.
- Supplemental tryouts for all age groups will be held Tuesday June 10 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Perry Middle School.
- Rain date will be Friday of each week.
