Dynamo announce protected players for Expansion Draft

HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Dynamo announced their list of 11 protected players for Wednesday's expansion draft on Monday.

The following 11 players have been protected and will be unavailable for selection:

Corey Ashe
Bobby Boswell
Geoff Cameron
Brian Ching
Brad Davis
Andrew Hainault
Tally Hall
Stuart Holden
Brian Mullan
Dominic Oduro
Cam Weaver

Additionally, midfielder Danny Cruz (Generation adidas) and goalkeeper Tyler Deric (home-grown player) are automatically protected. All other players are available to be selected by the Philadelphia Union. A maximum of one player can be selected from any one team.
