Wizards prepare to clash with 2007 MLS Cup playoff opponent
Free Tickets to Los Angeles Galaxy Match Available Through Special Ticket Package
Free tickets are available immediately for the match between the Kansas City Wizards and Los Angeles Galaxy Sept. 13. Fans who purchase a special ticket package that includes games in both the 2008 and 2009 seasons are eligible for the free tickets. The match has changed venues from CommunityAmerica Ballpark to Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff time has also changed and will now be 4 p.m. CT.The "2008-2009 Season Ticket Package" includes tickets to three games in 2008 and a deposit on season tickets for the 2009 season. The first 500 who purchase this package will receive complimentary lower-bowl tickets to the Los Angeles Galaxy match. Individual tickets to the game will go on sale in mid-August. Supplies are going fast, but a limited amount of tickets are still available through this program.

Purchase Autism-Awareness Fundraiser Tickets to Saturday's Match Against Chivas USA
Purchase tickets through our special Autism Awareness promotion for this weekend's match against Chivas USA. Kansas City and Chivas USA will face for the first time in 2008 after the Wizards eliminated the Los Angeles-based club from the MLS Cup Playoffs. Former Wizards playmaker Preki will be on hand for the match but not on the field in his usual position on the bench. Preki, Chivas USA's head coach, has been suspended by MLS for public comments about officiating. Kansas City is 3-1-2 all-time against Chivas.
Wizards Host First-Ever Latino Barnstorming Tour Wednesday
Wednesday, the Wizards will hold their first-ever "Latino Barnstorming Tour." Spanish-speaking members of the organization will head to three locations around town to meet and mingle with fans, take pictures and sign autographs in advance of Saturday's match-up with Chivas USA-the MLS club owned by the operators of famous Mexican club team CD Guadalajara. Fans are encouraged to attend to get to know your Spanish-speaking Wizards. Head Coach Curt Onalfo, goalkeeper Kevin Hartman and midfielder Roger Espinoza will take part in the event.Tour Stops

Wizards Weekly Press Conference Held Thursday at Swope Park
The Wizards weekly press conference will start at 12:00 p.m. CT at the pavilion adjacent to the team's Swope Park Training Center. Head Coach Curt Onalfo and midfielder Davy Arnaud will be available to discuss the upcoming home match against Chivas USA. Arnaud scored the series-winning goal in last fall's Western Conference semifinal victory over the Goats. Planet Sub sandwiches and cookies will be provided to all media members who attend.
