BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Fire flew into Florida Monday morning to begin preparations for an exhibition against the Honduran National Team on Wednesday, March 21 at the Los Palmas Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. at 3:00 p.m. CT that will be closed to the public. After wrapping up a four-day period that saw the Chicago Fire split time both in Oklahoma City and Norman, Okla. before falling in a 3-4 thriller Saturday versus FC Dallas, the "Men in Red" announced two additional opponents to round out its final two weeks of preseason training. Fire players will recognize a familiar face on the Honduran side Wednesday, as Fire midfielder Ivan Guerrero will join his countrymen in what will also be a warm up for the "Los Catrachos" friendly match with El Salvador on Saturday, March 24. The Fire has also added an extra contest in its final leg of preseason in Ridgeland, Miss., facing the University of Alabama-Birmingham at M&F Bank Stadium on March 29 at 3:00 p.m. CT.
