Documentary 'Sí Se Puede' to debut Sunday at LALIFF

CARSON, Calif. - 'Sí se Puede', an exclusive documentary which tells the behind-the-scenes tale of the formation of Chivas USA, Major League Soccer's newest Mexican-owned expansion team, will make its worldwide debut during the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF) this Sunday, October 30 at 11:00 a.m. PT, at the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre (formerly known as the Egyptian Theater) in Hollywood. Directed by Sergio Guerrero, 'Sí se Puede' brings you on the field, inside the locker room, and behind the scenes with the players, coaches, and front office staff of Major League Soccer's groundbreaking new Los Angeles-based expansion team.

Founded in August 2004, Chivas USA is sister team to Club Deportivo Guadalajara, Mexico's most popular soccer club (popularly known as 'Chivas'), whose 100 years of Mexican tradition has won it tens of millions of fans across Mexico, the United States and the world. Chivas USA began playing in Major League Soccer in 2005, as one of the league's two expansion clubs alongside Utah's Real Salt Lake.
