Anything by Damian Marley
What's one thing you've never really been good at, but always wished you were?
I would like to be able to play at least one instrument. I played the drums for a while and actually the flute as well in music classes growing up, but I have never been good at any of them. Not that I wanted to be good at the flute (joking). I would like to be able to play the guitar.
What would be your fantasy career if you were not a professional soccer player?
Musician
What are you tired of hearing about on the news?
All the news surrounding Michael Jackson
What's your favorite city in the world that you have been to?
Madrid
How do you pump yourself up before a game?
I used to have pre-game rituals, but not anymore. I listen to music but not real "pump up" stuff. More relaxing and calming music. Plus, I always make sure to take 5 minutes for myself, no music or anything, just a calming effect. There is also a group of us that meet for a prayer with our team Chaplain too.
What celebrity would you most like to have dinner with?
Pele
What birthday has been your favorite so far? Why was it your favorite?
Birthday celebrations are not a big deal in Jamaica. I remember being excited about getting my first bike around 10 years old though. My most memorable birthday had to be the first gift I remembering getting from my Dad, which was a cricket bat and a cricket ball when I turned 6. We played for hours and hours with that stuff and I actually have a scar above my left eye still to this day from that cricket bat.
What's your ideal way to spend a day away from soccer?
(In true Jamaican fashion) I just try to do something relaxing. I will either go fishing or relax by the pool. Later on in the day, I might try to go somewhere with some music -- not a bar, but somewhere with some life to it.
