Columbus Crew 2, Chivas USA 1
The Columbus Crew defeated Chivas USA 2-1 Saturday evening in a preseason exhibition at Cougar Stadium on the campus of the College of the Canyons in Valencia, Calif. The match benefited the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, a non-profit organization which provides support to children and their families facing childhood cancer in Santa Clarita and the surrounding area.
Chivas USA took the lead early when Atiba Harris took advantage of a miscue in the Crew defense for a ninth-minute lead.
However, the Crew pulled level with six minutes left in the opening half, when Adam Moffat's pass found its way through the Chivas USA defense to the feet of Brad Evans, who converted the chance.
The Crew scored the game-winner in the 59th minute when Robbie Rogers wove his way into the box and slotted a shot past Chivas USA goalkeeper Bill Gaudette.

Real Salt Lake ended its 10-day training camp in south Florida with a 2-1 victory against Florida Atlantic University in a 60-minute scrimmage played at the Holiday Inn Sports Complex in Sunrise, Fla.
Kyle Brown got things off to a fast start just 55 seconds in, when he ran onto Tony Beltran's well-weighted ball over the defense and side-stepped the goalkeeper before finishing into an empty net.
Then in the 50th minute, Singaporean international Indra Sahdan Daud rifled a shot home from 16 yards inside the far left post to push the RSL lead to 2-0. Two minutes later FAU pulled a goal back, but the professional side held out to the end for the win.
