2009 MLS All-Star Game

Online voting for the 2009 MLS All-Star Game has ended. Tune in on Monday, July 13, at 3 p.m. ET as the MLS First XI is announced on MLSnet.com's ExtraTime.

About the Online Ballot:
Fans can select up to one goalkeeper, three defenders, five midfielders and two forwards. To vote for a player, click to the left of his name.

A maximum of 10 ballots may be submitted per person per day. E-mail address must be valid. Ballots generated by a script, macro or other mechanical or automated means will be disqualified.

Major League Soccer and/or Sports on Earth reserves the right to validate all online ballots cast, and to invalidate any ballot in its discretion. Use of the online ballot is subject to the MLSnet.com Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Major League Soccer will have final decision on all balloting matters. A four-tier voting system will determine the First XI players selected for the 2009 MLS All-Star Game against Everton FC. The online fan balloting program will comprise 25 percent of the total vote, with coaches and general managers (25%), players (25%), and media (25%) combining for the remaining 75% percent of the vote. The total vote will honor the MLS First XI, regardless of whether or not those players start on July 29. Each MLS team nominated twelve (12) players for the ballot at the start of the season. Vote totals follow a player, meaning if a player switches teams, his totals will follow him to the new team.
Voting ends on Monday, July 6, 2009.
